I have been thinking about running nitrous on my set up but detonation is my worst fear. I would want to run 100 shot but not sure how it would hook up since I have an aftermarket intake. I think a wet direct port shot is the way to go from What I have read. I have alot of the supporting mods I would need done already but I'm running rich right now so I don't know if that's Alright with What I want to do. Any advice is appreciated hopefully someone has done this with success.
 
You need to get the car running good before messing around with nitrous. A wet kit is the best way to go in your situation. You should be able to run 100shot but you need to be careful with your ignition timing so you dont knock. I would be retarding it a few degrees when the nitrous is on and then think about adding some back in once you know its fine. Also dont start with 100 shot first. Start with a 50 and see how that works and work your way up
 
I just did a rebuild last year and my motor only has about 5k on it. It runs really strong but it's not my dd so I thought nitrous would be suitable over Turbo because I only want the extra power when I run across someone else while I'm out for a cruise. I have adjustable cam gears too but What do you mean by ignition timing?
 
I recently installed an adjustable wet system. It is a small adjustable system 50,75,100HP depending on the jets in the fogger nozzle. I currently have the 75HP jets in there. It was easy to install with a T just in front of the fuel rail and the line from the bottle in the trunk. Go button is on the side of the T shifter handle and I only use it in 3rd and 4th, so far. I have only used it about 5 times, but so far no apparent problems. Try to get the bottle filled at a welding shop with no SO2, so you don't get the sulfur-dioxide stink when you use the system.
 
When you start getting into a shot that big you NEED a way to control timing, esp with that compression. You may be able to get by with dropping the heat range 2 plugs but its not going to be optimal. As far as running N20 to a button switch, I don't recommend it. They make window switches for a reason, that combined with a bottle heater, blow down tube, bottle pressure safety switch, fuel pressure safety switch and a dyno or WB to tune the shot would be the best way to go WITH a way to control timing. Either with MS or a type of ignition box(Crane Fireball, MSD etc...) Nitrous is fun and is a little cheaper than turbo but can easily be misused and in a blink of an eye grenade your ish...just take all the safety precautions and you should be good. The only other thing I would recommend if your going to be spraying that lard of a shot(for a 4 cylinder) would be going with a direct port instead of a single fogger, you will get better performance and is IMO safer than the larger shots through a single fogger.
 
Get yourself a MSD 6 with it's two stage timing, Retard timing 3-6 degrees with spray, stock timing without spray! My Eclipse is not juiced, but just juiced a 3.4 Grand Am GT

That button becomes an addiction, get yourself a hook up on bottle fills!!
OH and freeze your bottle before you get it filled!
