I've got axels that are stage 2 icabt remember brand got off ci I'm gonna do coilovers once everything together and I apologize for being so vauge and miss spelling garrett LOL

I've decided on a HKS GT2835 Pro S t3 turbo unless someone has a better suggestion
 
Good luck on your build. Once you are ready to drop it in and if you need a hand, just let me know. Oxford is about 20mins away from me. I've never done a turbo setup before but it never hurts to have an extra hand.
 
The hks gt2835 isn't worth the price tag in my eyes.

HKS GT 2835 turbo kit - evolutionm.net some evo guys talking about the hks turbo.

That hks is barely bigger then a 16g which might not even break 400hp. You have to remember you want a bigger hotside with a. 70 a/r or similar. If you get boost around 3000rpm you will be lucky to not spin the shit out of your tires, especially with no lsd.

here's a classified ad with two 20g's for sale. I wouldn't spend 1500 on a turbo when you can get a used one then rebuild it for way less then a grand. But that's just my take on putting a turbo on a 420a. And if you want to spend good money on a turbo I would back it up with megasquirt. No reason to cheap out if your going all out.

How did you go from a gt28 sized turbo to the second largest compressor offered for the gtx35r? In less than 24 hours?

What criteria had you set on the gt28 in the first place?
 
^^^^^^ now that's funny stuff landspeed LOL I don't think this kid knows to much about what he wants nor does he know what he needs for his goal or set up. There's plenty in this thread to go off of then he decides he wants a 35r series turbo hahaha.

I actually think I'm going with a treadstone kit I met a dude last week with one on stock botom end on 8 psi car is scary fast
 
So next week some kid will be running a 200 shot and you will go do that right? 8psi is what a stock gst runs which is quick but not "scary fast" at all. You haven't been in a real fast car yet. You need to actually research and not go off of what the kid down the street is doing. I like doing it my way learning what's the best set up I can go with. A tredstone kit works but it's not great quality imo. Just really look into stuff before you go buying it.
 
I've got a 100 shot ;-) as for the not knowing fast cars my buddy has a mr2 pushing 450 bhp. that is fast by many deffinitions well as for the treadstone kit would it be worth running? like would it hold up? and where is a good place to get internals? cause everyone is saying stay away from ci and this time around I think I am
