Your trying to get 10s on pump? Is that what your saying?

In any case sure you can have 10 second car and then daily drive it. Prolly change a few things for when your on the street and when your at the track.

If your talking about going 10s on pump that is quite a feat.

yes i want to do 10's i don't care if it 10.99 as long as the 1st numbers are 10 and yeah on 93 octane no race gas

57trim, isn't particularly good with pump gas, and won't flow enough for tens. Build a 12sec daily driver first. Then worry about elevens.

1. why is that are you saying it can't be done 2. Well what turbo would be best for my goals

10s period is a pretty big task. Look at the times list.... there arent an abundance of 10s. You are adding the very big hurdle of doing it on 93 octane. Your car is going to have to be gutted. 2700lbs with you in it is a good start.

As far as a turbo your going to need something like a 60-1, GT35R, 3065 a "play no games" turbo. I also suggest looking into N20.. Having 93 in your tank with a seperate fuel cell of some c16 for a decent shot of N20 will make your life alot easier. A stroker would be a good idea as well.

A separate fuel cell would make things complicated, and he already ruled out race gas. You could look into propane injection. Domestic guys are putting down pretty good numbers with a N20/Propane injection combo.

First off your not going 10's on pump gas. Second your setup on 93 octane may give you 23-24psi of boost to play with which will get you to a high 11 if your lucky on your current setup.

You will HAVE to run race gas and spray nitrous on top of your current setup. 26psi and a 75-100hp shot on 116octane gas will get you to 10s. If you wanna do it turbo only, your going to need something a bit bigger than a 57trim. You'll have to be into a 60+ lbs/min wheel minimum plus race gas and some serious weight reduction.

Fact of the matter is your not gonna do it on pump. Even pump with propane on a 57 isn't gonna do it, you just are not gonna make enough power.

I have a super duper Stage 71 SuperTrim QZ series T3/T4 with twin scroll and VNT Technology I can sell you for a few thousand. The compressor wheel is the size of a watermelon but you can retain spool times below 3000 because we have a super duper efficient exhaust wheel the size of a humming bird. It even included nitrous bungs preselected on the compressor housing for maximum spray pattern.

A few things I must comment on.
1) You have full race tube DSM's going low 8's on mega boost, nitrous and 116 octane gas yet you want a 10 second pump gas daily driver.
2) There are almost full weight DSM's going high 9's on spray and mega boost on 116 octane gas yet you want a 10 second pump gas daily driver.
3) There are full streetable cars running 11's on race gas yet you want a 10 second pump gas daily driver.
4) My assumption is that your current car is not in one of the 3 categories above.
5) Start with a mid 12 second pump gas daily driver. Get there first then you can focus on the 10's. I don't believe that combo you have will get you much farther than maybe a squeaky high 11 on pump. Depends on what else you do to it.

and finally

6) Your shift key broken on your keyboard? How about all them punctuations. Read the rules to post in this forum. Thread closed.

There aren't a whole lot of 10 second daily drivers out there to begin with - especially on pump gas. Hell, find me a list of people who run 10 second DSMs on pump gas. If you can find any, the list won't be long. You're building a car that "might" be able to run high 10's or low 11's. But chances of running that on pump gas and full weight is not very realistic. Listen to the people here who have a lot more experience than you. They know what they're talking about.

If you were Shep, maybe people would have more confidence in you. When there are shops out there who have dumped twice as much money into their cars and race for a living and can't do what you're trying to do, there's cause for skepticism.
