cool build for both of you. i wondering if the 8v 2.0 pistons would net similar compression. i want to stay nt with a 4g67(g4cn). my block has the same stroke has a 2.0 just smaller bored.

Subscribed. I've been toying around with the idea of building a junkyard G4CS and putting it in my '63 swapped Colt haha. Don't know how safe that little tin can would be but it sure would be hella fun:D

I pulled this engine apart last month and had 3 piston skirts broken off and laying the oil pan. I gave the 2.4 block to my friend and he is doing a higher effort 2.4 build with forged pistons and crank, girdle, 2150cc injectors, sheet metal intake, etc, etc. He is hoping to make 500whp, we will see. This is the most intensive build we have tried, still getting help from Jack's Transmissions so it should be a good combo. He is assembling parts now and I am suppose to help pull his old engine this Sunday. Perfect timing for an update. I have been too busy, I forgot to update this thread when we pulled the engine apart. My friend's build will still run E85 and he has either 10:1 or 10.5:1 wiseco pistons. So far he has dropped around 8K on parts and machine work so not a budget daily driver build.

Oh Wow Cool, (well not that it let go) But, Thanks for the Quick update!

Look forward to seeing more. Sounds like it held up for a while this thread started quite awhile back.

Not to hijack your thread,
But seriously thinking about building something similar to this on budget before this spring... .

But putting it in a different RWD Platform :)
