02 sensors and widebands?

alright.. i have link v3 with innovate lc-1 wideband.. getting ready to wiring everything in.. now.. i am putting it in spot of the front o2 housing.. wiring it up by the ecu including the db gauge.. now.. my question is.. do i need to do anything from the plug from the original o2 sensor from the harness.. or can i just leave it unplugged.. and do i need the second o2 sensor..? or can i just leave that out the equation too.. ??

Guess, its not as good a spot as thought, exhaust leaks and all.

I will just drill a new hole in pipe under O2 housing and put a bung in.

You dont want to splice into it, def cut it clean and wire in to the ecu directly. Forget about the harness wiring ya know. That could cause the 0-5v signal to muddy up. unlikely but still, best just to clip it.
Id like to add that i too notice the nb sim not as good as original nb o2. Im thinking of adding mine back in then a bung below for the wb.
