02 sensor high voltage

90 tsi light mods no programmers...nothing just a logger. o2-f reads 2.96 volts. from idle to wot and normal driving. constant with no deviations. should i start checking wires of replace it?

What reading do you get with the O2 sensor unplugged? I just had a 1990 ECU doing the same thing, even on the bench with nothing attached, and Steve Piette fixed it for me.

im not sure exactly what your asking/talking about with the '90 ECU, sorry! but if you unplug your o2 sensor the reading on your palm would be 0V.

The reading from MMCd O2-F isn't what you think it is. Please use O2-R.
