If you jumped timing it probably bent some valves. When you discovered the timing jumped how many teeth was it off?

About 1-2 ish.

Somebody sponsor me a 2g piston 6 bolt block please.Youll get a spot in my signiture:hmm:

Timing can cause 0 compression. If timings off, then on the compression stroke all four valves wont be shut to build compression.
If you think you gauge is bad put hour hand over plug hole while its cranked, you should feel the air pressure coming out

I got the damm tester stuck yesterday..Maybe the tester is faulty.

Bud, since you are not sure the compression tester works or not, Try the "Backyard" compression test.

All this test will tell you is if you have 0 compression, or making compression, but it will not give you a number to let you know how much.

Remove all 4 spark plugs.

Now take 4 full sheet paper towels, wad each paper towel up and pack it in the spark plug tube.

Go turn the key so the engines spins over.

Look at the spark plug tubes.

If the paper towel shot out, you have compression.
If the paper towel is still in the spark plug tube, you have 0 compression, and you have issues to chase down.

This test is so simple a caveman can do it.

Well, now you know it is not the tester. Seems like you have a very good chance at bent valves.

We knew it was bent valves when the wad of paper towel would not pop out.

Why you being so lazy? I thought you would have had the head off by now.

Well it did last time..This time iI got the dowel pin on exhaust camcan up,went to do intake camcan and it woudlnt mov.

got the head unbolted late last night.so today iI'll lift it off and see what's up..too bad my computer isnt loading internet,so I could upload the photos and u guys could see them, but iI wont be able to do that either.

Wellllllll the head is off..do you want the good news or the bad news first..wellllll there is no good news..in take valves are fuuuk******* the whole intake side of the pistons are dented real good, there some shavings I'm guessing from the pistons or valves obviously..can still see the cross hatch in in the cylinder walls tho..

so wwho's my first donar.

Buff the high spots off the valves.

Perform the check for bad or pinched rings, you know where the link is.

Get a good head, timing belt and parts, felpro 9627pt and ARP if you do not have them at this time.

Install and enjoy.
