If you jumped timing it probably bent some valves. When you discovered the timing jumped how many teeth was it off?

Timing can cause 0 compression. If timings off, then on the compression stroke all four valves wont be shut to build compression.
If you think you gauge is bad put hour hand over plug hole while its cranked, you should feel the air pressure coming out
About 1-2 ish.

EDIT 3 found why it jumped timing..Tenioner arm aint putting tension on shit.
Went to go put the timing cover back on and set it up correctly..well my intake can won't move..i bet thats bent valves.
