0 compression experience!!!!!

For anyone who has ever had their turbo dsm have no compression due to a blown HG or anything else that cause no compression how does the car run. I think that I am a victim of no compression but I need to know from first hand experience what happend to you guys.

if you have no compression in one of the cylinders could be your rings have gone bad, sounds like rebuild time .. if its a blown head gasket you should have compression coming throught the radiator cap .. check your timing, might bent a valve .. just a few things to look for
as far as how would your car perform ?? you would just be robbed of power

What exactly is your car doing? I would however, start with a simple compression test of each cyl. and see if you have any drastic changes between each cyl then you need to look at that cyl for the cause. As stated if you have a blown head gasket you would likely be pressurizing the cooling system. Is there smoke in the exhaust? Check the oil, does it look clean?(at least not milky). These are signs of blown headgaskets.

You could also check for oil in the coolant overflow bottle. You will know if your HG is toast if your coolant looks like baby shit. Nasty business.

Only time I've ever had a 0 compression issue was when we were too damn tired after working on the car all day and installed the exhaust cam 180* out. All 16 valves open at once = bupkus at cranking. Never lost all compression in a single cylinder.

Thanks a lot fellas. My goals were only to get like 350 wheel hp and run like low 12's high 11's but this present situation has put me in rock and a hard place. SOOO it looks like some forged pistons/rods with some new bearings and some arp bolts and studs to go along with my MLS HG and overhal gaskets. Thanks for the imput though fellas. Looks like new goal is for 10's.
