the car has been awoken from a long hibernation, it was transported to RIX RACING. ricky is going to button it up and get her on the rollers.

its got fp race manifold, fp vband o2 housing, and 2 1/2 down pipe to 3” flex section then 3” to an old school cool apexi muffler. the down pipe to the exhaust tip is a muffler shop job thats been on my car since i bought in 2006, not an off thr shelf piece.

I updated my profile with some of the stuff done to the car, scary that i cant remember everything but check it out if you want to see what im running on my laser.

Man I remember seeing some of those old Laser photos back in the day. Loved it. I currently have a black 92 Laser 6b/4b 5spd combo that I've ignored for the last 8 years. Can't wait to see it when you get it back from Rix

Is the wastegate on the laser mounted directly to the hot side and run inline to the downpipe? Nice evo looks clean and stock from the outside.

Hey sup man, its an old school Forced Performance DSM bolt on SS housing machined to accept a garret gt30 turbine wheel. its bolt on DSM flange with two vbands one for downpipe , the other for wastegate. the wastegate is just a dump tube not recirculated.
My evo is mostly stock with some tastefull bolt ons, my favorite being the ohlins coilovers.

Oh that's cool, you can't even see the downpipe behind it. It looks like there's a lot more than running the o2 housing off it. I had to modify my o2 housing with the wastegate because it wasn't even close the clearing the alternator. My evo is not very street friendly anymore. Sometimes I wish I didn't go balls the walls with and did that with the eclipse instead.

ok the time has finally come to bring my laser home from rix racing, its been done for months but with time constraints it was tuff to get there but shes loaded and heading home more updates to come

been putting miles on her shes a ripper
slowly working thru some of odds and ends taking it out people have no clue what it is unless they knows dsms

well well have too much fun then its back to working on me
the post on friday was at local cruise night car ran great no issues with temp but noticed strong smell of coolant but no leaks or anything on the floor

saturday night take her out for a proper beating as one shud on saturday night with no plans car runs proper and she rips thru half a tank of gas without a blinking an eye

sunday 6:00am finally wake my ass up to go to old man cars and coffee, (i kid i kid not much for coffee and more of a night owl)
warm up the car go brush my teeth cum back small bit of coolant on floor underneath where the overflow is so not to suspicious double check the hoses top off the overflow and go car ran mint temps fine everything good except coolant missing from overflow

monday today bust out the whole rad test kit and lo and behold the heater core has retired now great loooped the lines finished the leak test and proceeded to clean up a big ole mess
thank you almighty dsm gods you cant stop me tho
