Even with 3 year old paint it still doesnt look as good as yours, MB!! I dont have the patients to spend hours on the paint like you do! Hell I barely have time to wash it anymore! Luckily I have a garage it stays in now!

Great day at the track!! Almost got to one if my goals. Temps were hot and the track was great! Next time!
The car was still on the 5050 e85/93 tune so it was quite lean since it was on 100%E. Shake downs and consistant improvement all day!

Unfortunately not. The girlfriend and one and a half year old take quite a bit of time. Although the spare time i do have Im working on my other project, this one is on the back burner. Feel free to check it out. Should only be a couple page or two back. 71 super beetle.

But on a related topic the car still runs and is an awesome car to drive to work! Lol thats really the only time i get to drive it. Recently i blew an ic pipe off aoi was chasig a boost leak for a few days only to find its the injector seals. So at the moment im waiting for those in the mail. Id really planned to get to the track this month but that thought is fading fast. Hopefully in october before they close i can at least get one day in and hopefully a 10 second pass on street tires!

Sooo this is the latest on the spyder... remember ^^^^ when i was chasig some boost leaks for a no boost issue? Well heres why. Sorry for the weak video, keep an eye on the compressor.

So needless to say, the car is done for this year. I dont have the motivation to keep putting time into it much any more since a lot of my very little spare time goes into my Bug.. keep an eye on that thread for updates.

Holy crap i havent updated this in a while. Pulled the car out of the garage to wash itbup and charge the battery. Upon trying to get it back into the garage i totally forgot why i parked it last fall in the first place, it wouldnt start! Now i cant find my laptop charger :facepalm: but last summer i finally got around to getting my flexfuel stuff set up and get the car tuned up on pump gas. I only had time to do a few short pulls on the way home from work at midnight when id drive the car so progress was slow but it was coming along until i ran into this snag. Ill get to it at some point, tossed around the idea of selling it or parting it out but i just cant come to losing my ass that bad!

Sad to post this but the car has been pulled apart and most of the items im willing to sell have been sold or spoken for. I still have my Redjack manifold and wastegates for sale as well as the awd roller.

As of february 24 my journey with this great car came to an end. I hope to see the new owner open a thread and continue this cars life. So long old friend.

is the trunk usable with the high rise spoiler in the spyder or no , you’re THE ONLY person i’ve seen do the swap and i really hope you end up responding even tho it’s years late!!

Don't know how I ended up here but I also run the high rise on the spyder in my build thread and trunk works same as stock
