2G Full Gasket rebuild kit 97 Eagle Talon Tsi

Hello everyone so I’m finally getting close to finishing the rebuilding process on my 1997 Eagle Talon TSi 7 bolt but now I’m confused as to where I can get a full gasket rebuilt kit online. I’ve checked multiple threads but all of them talk about OEM, DNJ, Felpro, AJUSA and Cometic.

I know I can’t cheap out on the head gasket and I don’t plan on it just because of how much more money I’ve already put on the build. So if anyone could point me in the right direction that’d be great!

I found this on eBay but it comes with piston rings which I don’t need but comes with almost all the gaskets I need.

I was wondering if anyone has a list of all the gaskets I need because I can’t seem to find the list I made anywhere. Thanks!

Skip Ebay altogether and buy from reputable places like Extremepsi.com where you know the parts are quality.

Second this. Not that other suppliers and brands should be avoided, but I've ordered a wide variety of parts from Extremepsi.com and the quality is excellent and the shipping is fast.

Ok sounds good thanks is there a place I can find all the gaskets names I need like some type of diagram?

Starting at the top of the motor

Valve cover gasket with tube seals and cam plug
Throttle body gasket
Fuel injector o-rings
biss screw seal (there is a plastic screw in the throttle body with a seal Under it)
Egr valve gasket
Intake manifold gasket
Exhaust manifold gasket
Turbo charger exhaust housing gasket
Valve stem seals
Cam seals
Can angle sensor seal and o-ring
Turbocharger gasket
Headgasket
Turbo drain line to turbo gasket
Turbo drain to oil pan gasket
Water pump gasket
Oil pump pulley seal
Oil pump gasket
Front crank seal
Oil filter housing gasket
Oil filter housing seal
Engine rear main seal
Oil pump pick up tube gasket
Oil pan gasket (technically there’s no gasket just rtv “
Cv axle seals (on transmission)
Down pipe exhaust gasket
Catalytic converter gasket

If you’re replacing all of the gaskets and seals you may also want to replace all of the coolant hoses. There are silicon hose kits sold on eBay that come with all of the coolant and heater hoses

Be aware that you should not use an mls (multi-layer steel) head gasket unless the head and block have been machined for it.

I'll add cam seals and a half moon seal at the valve cover. There is also an oring at the CAS and a gasket

I am in the same space as you are. I went with the Fel-Pro kits from Extreme PSI.

Thank you for the help as well as to Pauley! I get busy with college and work and I completely forgot to get back and check but now that I have a list I can go ahead and start buying the right gaskets! Now that we're out for the Summer!
