I just received an Amayama order today. I ordered $120 worth of parts. After shipping and duties it was $200. But some of those parts aren't available in the US, and a couple of them were far cheaper than the ones that are in the US, so it ended...

91 F150; been meaning to address a leaking axle seal on the 8.8 rearend. This quickly turned into a surprising and more time consuming ordeal during disassembly. For those who have had an open diff apart....the floating bolt piece is what...

Currently has a Walbro 535 in the fuel cell, I bought a Magnafuel 750 to go on it instead but I'm kinda leaning towards mechanical now.First outing won't be trying to make a lot of power so I might just leave the 535 for the time being.

Journal update: I got my bottom end assembled finally but upon inspection the end result was a bitter sweet. My build was a base OEM standard bore with stock 2g Nippon pistons and rings coupled with beefier Scat rods, original 7 bolt polished...

Better protection for the oil hoses if the fittings on the cooler are facing up.

The other point I'd like to make is that the fuel global itself isn't very precise. IIRC, In the factory code it's only 8 bits and scaled in a way that makes the normal smaller injectors more accurate but as you get larger the jump from one...
