I completed the Saturn alternator swap this weekend using a Remy remanufactured alternator from a 96 Saturn SC I got from RockAuto. I tested the old OEM alternator and it failed and I had this new one tested and it passed. I used the same Jay kit...

These gaskets. They look great fit great but they always leak. I tried one myself from a Solo guy here (Aaron something or another?) and mine leaked real bad. You tighten it down too much and you'll bend your oil pan flange it will never seal...

There could be very many things wrong with your setup. Do you still have access to the stock MAF or EVO MAF? Use that as a baseline and get the car to run with it on the stock MAP so that you can eliminate 1000 other things being the issue. Do a...

Sad update... Drove it 40 miles yesterday, oil pressure at idle dropped to 0. Across the powerband I was down 10-12psi from my previous post. Dropped the pan, crank is walking. 😢 Welp. Guess it's time to build the spare 6 bolt I have.... Won't...

PT Cruiser Transmissions are a direct swap, except the VSS may need to be changed IIRC. Finding a 2GNT replacement trans is next to impossible. I would just replace the synchro myself if it were me.

The "calculator" is just using theoretical math to make a good guess guess, but even the best theory cannot take into account all the variability in the system. Using ACTUAL measurements of the exhaust gas tells you what you need to do.

Carpet first, then dash, then your seat belts . Interior trim panels would be next and seats are last to go in. The door panels can go on whenever , but it’ll be a little easier if you don’t have to worry about them when the seats are going in.
  • Zanaqqq posted the thread Interior guide? in Appearance/Interior/Exterior.
Since buying my 98 eclipse gst 5 months ago I picked up a full black leather interior for it. My current issue is the car only has the 4 seats, center console, headliner, and dash in it. No carpet, no door cards, no plastics. I have all new...
