My current plans for my Tsi are as follows:

3in Authority Dp.
3in Authority Exhaust
*Not sure what intake setup to run (anyone feel free to give me your opinion)
*I want to run the Tial 50mm BOV, but not sure if its gonna mess w/my MAS (Opinions)
Boost Gauge, A/F Gauge, Trans Temp. Gauge
Hallman Pro RX Boost Controller Kit (Manual)
Dsm Free Mods
ACT 2100 Clutch Kit

I am very confused on what type of FMIC to run i see alot of ppl w/ Dsms that run Ebay ones, im not to fond of Ebay, but I would like your guys opinion.

If you guys feel that im lacking any supporting mods, please let me know of any supporting mods that i might need.:thumb:

I want this car to be a mild build until this April, when i paln on upgrading to a Big 16g

Thank You
:talon: 4 Life!

IMO an intake is an intake, theres no special chemicals/ingredients in a $200 intake thats different from a cheap ebay one.

If its on a stock T25 i would just get a cheap ebay intake, theres a writeup where it shows to be a good buy

To run a TiAL BOV you would either need a MAFT setup or Standalone. Yes you can run one without it but i always recommend doing it right

The intercooler your talking about is the SSAutochrome, its a good one for 2g's, its the one i use and ive had no problems with it.

Before you get a boost controller i would recommend getting a fuel pump
*Walbro 190
or
*Walbro 255 with/Adjustable Fuel pressure regulator

+1 on the intake and intercooler. It is the one i run. Don't mess around with a narrowband a/f gauge. save time and money in the long run by getting a wideband. There are sales for the aem uego wb02.

Unless you run a blow-thru maf setup, it's going to cause stalling and rough idle because you can't recirc.

Tial has a new Alpha Q bov that flows just as great but recirc's. It's kinda big though

Hey,

Buy a SSAC FMIC kit awesome kit and a proen kit for cheap

The A/F Gauge isnt really needed but if you want one I have one for cheap PM me for more details.

As for the Intake EBAY will do fine.

You might want to look into a 16g and a ported 2g o2 housing as well

Alright assuming you stick with the stock turbo- there is no reason to get a larger fuel pump yet, the t-25 will run out of efficiency before it needs more fuel than stock. An ebay pipe would be fine for intake, but i'd always recomend running a quality filter like kn or vibrant, check out extreme psi's pipe and filter deal. Boost controller, get a manual one. And yes unless you run a gm maf translator or speed density setup, a 50mm BOV will hurt your car when not recirculated. FMIC is a bit overkill on the stock turbo

3in Authority Dp.
2.5" will be better, 3" is overkill IMO
3in Authority Exhaust
Good

Pipe doesn't matter, get one that will fit a 2g MAS. Make sure you get a quality filter!

Overkill IMO, just get a HKS SSQV
Boost Gauge, A/F Gauge, Trans Temp. Gauge
Boost gauge, yes. A/F, no. Trans Temp, no. Get a WBO2
Hallman Pro RX Boost Controller Kit (Manual)
Good
Dsm Free Mods
NO I cannot stress it enough.
ACT 2100 Clutch Kit
Why not a 2600?

What are you going to tune with? Get a fuel pump and AFPR and some 650's if you are going with a 16g, do it once do it right

SSAC from Mangina FTW

+1 on an intake being an intake; I had a 40$ ebay intake on my last talon and it worked out just fine. Only thing is: a Dejon (or simlarily priced) intake might fit better than a cheap ebay intake.. Once I had the filter on and everything bolted up it almost didn't fight under the hood. Just some food for thought.

I've heard that anything higher than a 2100 on a 2G can promote CW. Most people that I've spoken to actually recommend a stock pressure plate with the 2100 clutch disk. True or not I don't see the reason to risk it. I feel that a 2100 would hold up just fine for the abuse that most light builds would throw at it.

just suck up your pride and get the ebay fmic because its the best for the price.. get the ebay intake also, and ebay short shifter, and ebay nsx MBC, and glowshift or other ebay gauges and pod, and ebay downpipe and exhaust..

search and you will see all the mentioned above are now proven to work well and reliably. oh yes i am serious..

my beater has been proving it, however i dont do ebay on parts that do matter.. such as my real mhi b16g, and fidanza flywheel and act clutch.

Generally speaking a 2100 should hold up well under the pressure of a lightly modded car... But with similar modding my 2100 failed within the first couple weeks. The moral? Break the damn clutch in properly. That being said, my second 2100 ran until I sold the car under fairly heavy abuse :thumb:
