Quite the opposite: these spacers require long studs. I'm glad that you have that covered.

The place that makes the perfect spacers is this: Wheel Adapters, Wheel Spacers, Hub Rings, and much more! | Motorsport Tech

But I just ordered a set for test-fitting and I'll sell them to you at a discount after I've checked them out and written up a product review.

If you get your own, this is what you need to tell Lenny:

centerbore (inside): 67.1mm (Mitsu)
centering lip (outside): 73.1mm (Rota)
bolt pattern: 5x114.3mm
thickness: whatever you wish between 5mm and 10mm - mine are 8mm

Don't forget to get some 67.1/73.1 centering rings for the rear wheels.

these ones? Buy Adapter | Motorsport Tech

thats the spacer i was trying to describe LOL. Looks like he can fomr 3mm-2X mm (from the drop down anyway). these seem pretty bad ass. I may take ya up on your offer once i get the wheels and get them mounted to see what kinda spacer i need. Hows the lead time on these bad boys? great find btw!

I ordered mine on Friday at 6pm our time, he'll make them Wednesday, and they'll be here Friday.

Yes, spacers that are also hub-centering rings are uber cool. Evo X folks are dying for these, since we have 8mm less inside clearance in the front than rear. That's for whom I'm testing these.

nice. Ill order my rims tomorrow and then hopefully they will clear the brembos, if not, then ill be ordering. (if i need something other then 8mm). Thanks again sir!

well, Got the rims and did a test fit. Looks like the +8 is deff needed. Here is a pic with a 7.75mm Spacer for test fit/ clears by a hair.. literally.

Do you have tires on them yet, or are you waiting for your spacers? I really want to see pics of them on the ground.

no tires. They clear with the spacer, but Im a little bummed, the stick out past the fender 3/4"-1"... IMO doent look good, and im not going for a stanced.. So im not sure what im doing. I may try an 18 as it see,ds the spoke design s what im fighting.

I can probably roll the fenders, but imnot sure how to correctly "pull" them..So far You tube has only generated a phone book method, unless im missing something. the Rolling tool is something i have access to, im not sure if the same tool is used to pull the fender as well.. seems like a lot of space to make up though.

If it were me I'd roll and slightly pull the fenders. Add a little bit negative camber up front (I'm not talking about stance bull crap) but a functional amount of camber... Example on my Evo I had -1.0 in the rear and -2.0 up front... Stock sway bars, with bilsteins and swift springs (1.0 drop all round) and it handled great. A little bit of negative camber up front shouldn't be too bad. Toe is what will kill your tires.

So you started out with a +35 offset added an 8mm spacer... which puts you at +27 offset... I've been looking at these wheels too but I'll go for the +25 offset and delete the spacer for my set up. Roll, pull fenders, add some negative camber up front and hopefully mount some 255/40/17.. I'm just worried about the +25 offset in the back with those meaty tires.

I may give that a shot. any tips on correctly pulling fenders?I need lime 3/4" to make these work.. Im going to see if i can borrow a set of 18s (same rim) and see if they clear any better.. however, iven if they do , 8mm isnt going to help to much i wouldnt think.

Im not saying the thought didnt cross my mind LOL. My issue is id really like to reuse my tires (17s) they only have a few 100 miles on them and resell , may not be so kind.. Not to mention, ill be swapping at the track, im not sure what setting up for daily on a 18 would do to the geometry when i slap a 17 with a DR on. besides id low ball you :p LOL which you already coverd LOL

"Q: are you going to be this much of a jerk during negotiations?
A: if by "negotiations" you mean your attempt to pay less than $700+shipping, then this is nothing compared to how I'll be acting; do you know how much these wheels are worth?"

Yeah, my sense of humor is probably why the wheels and brakes sold slowly, although the brakes are pretty much gone and I have a nibble on the wheels. The main reason, though, why getting Evo X wheels will make things harder for you in the long run is the 67 centerbore.

"What?" you say. "Isn't 67 perfect for a Mitsu?"

"Nope," I reply.

The trick of having identical wheels at all corners, but spacing out the fronts by 8mm, AND STILL BEING SOLIDLY HUBCENTRIC is to run wheels with a centerbore of at least 71. Rings in the rear and the funky spacers that we've been going on about in the front.

I had a local roll and "push" my front fenders out for $50 ($25 a side). He used the roller to push the fender out a tad to gain a few extra millimeters on top of the rolling.

I have no problem clearing a 255/35 S-Drive (10.2 section width) on Evo X 18x8.5's with the camber you gain on stock upper arms (no camber kit).

The rear is different, and is about 1/2" higher with less camber.

did you ever get these mounted up? pics?
i'm looking at getting the 530's in "17 x 8.25, maybe +25 offset with 225/45 tires. do you tire fitment guru's know if that'll rub? and will they stick out of the fenders, i'm looking for a clean, flush with the fender stance. i'm running about 1.5" drop. don't mean to thread jack, just didn't think i should start a new one due to it being the same topic, thanks for any help.
