Well if u are wanting to do this u need power inverter. What it does is change dc current to ac current. Next u need one that will match ## power requirments in amps and in normal amps not peak amps. Next is to up ## charging system and battery or batteries. And basic knowledge of electtrical wiring.

I put one in my STi when it had the 7" head unit and it was pretty awesome but to be honest the work it takes isnt worth it. It was in there for maybe 4-5 month and the only time it was ever used was when i was at a car meet, and when i was testing it, otherwise it take a lot of power and mine died every 5 minutes.

I had a slim ps2 in the glovebox of my Ralliart. Just plugged into a flip out screen via composite cables and a power inverter also stored in the glove box. Nothing really complicated about it, just plug everything in.

I´m very interested in this post. I want a ps3 in my car. Keep us informed, please!

My question is where can I find a lOng enough av cord or watever it's called that goes from the touch screen head unit to my Xbox? I already knew about the power inverter thing...

Judging by your post's you're not old enough to own a car. Even a 6 year old knows what an extension cable is. As far as answering WHERE to get it. Oh I don't know. Maybe an electronics store. Maybe even the same store that sold the xbox.

And by long enough I mean I wanna put the Xbox under the back seat

Woah sorry tough guy im not a god and know everything about car audio and electronics like you. This is a forum for new people who don't know alot about these cars so if your just gonna be a dick why don't you just go somewhere else where people know what there freaking talking about.

Thanks for the help. I didn't know sucking at electrical work was such a crime.

No but being lazy and wanting the answers spoon fed to you is a crime in my America. Not only is the forum full of information about wiring but there is another source called google as mentioned.

You can always go to a audio shop and they can install everything for you.

I think this would be a good option for you. It's not a crime, but you've shown that you haven't done any research on this besides the fact of wanting to do it.

Putting the xbox under the seat is a retarded idea as well. You ever wonder why those things get that "red ring of death" its because idiots put them on carpet, or stick them in poorly ventilated entertainment centers. They make a lot of heat, and it overloads the cooling capacity of the xbox.

Putting it under the seat will not only make it hard to switch game discs, but it will lead to the death of the system rather quickly.

That's a lot of power to be pulling constantly...even for an inverter...

I hope it's a second gen 360....the very 1st gen pulls 220 IIRC....
