Ok, so I got a 14b not too long ago. Finally got it put on, and it's not spooling til like 3500 RPM at 15 psi. NOT good. Finally got around to a boost leak test today, and the system wouldn't hold pressure. Thought it was the J-pipe. Used RTV to seal it, STILL hear a hissing around the turbo itself. Took the j-pipe off, covered the compressor outlet with my hand and pressurized a bit, HISSING from the turbo. What the hell is going on here? Are the seals gone? I'm not smoking at all, so I'm lost here. I guess it doesn't really matter, I just picked up a ported s16g in a trade for my T04B, so the 14b will be off in a few days, but still, this is pissing me off. Please can anyone help me figure this out.
