boost won't hold up

I have jsut fix my ECU at a Auto Electric Shop and before it was fix my ECU was fried pretty bad and my S-AFC some how reading 100% throttle with out touching the gas. I fould out that my ECU has a gap around the print circiut board since i short circuit the 02 sensor when i try to install the 02 simulator. when they fix it and install it, the CEL out cuz of my no/cat and my the car start pretty good. when i start driving and step the gas petal with full throttle. my car wouldn;t pass 4000 rpm when ever i hit boost. It like a rev meter around 4000 rpm and my car boogles like i'm hitting fuel cut. check my pro fec B II and reading about 22.4 PSI. I turn it down to 15 psi and stock boost and it still not passing 4000 rpm. check my boost gauge when i step the gas and the boost gauge is hiting 8-10 psi. SO far i think this is a fuel cut and wonder why my car is doing this? is it the ECU is doing this? is my adapter of my turbo is mest up? Is my boost controller is not setting where i want my boost at? is it the boost controller mest up? wire promblem? help :cry:
 
You either have boost leak or boost creep but possibly both, kind of hard to tell with no info in your profile. Do a boost leak test first and see if situation improves, and do fill out your profile so we can help you better.
 
update my profile. do i have boost creep cuz of my downpipe is 3 in? where do i find boost creep? i might have damage the boost soleniod?!
 
1. So the only thing changed was the ecu swap? What else was done if any?

2. Were you creeping before?

3. What boost were you running before? You mentioned 15 psi but then you said it hit's 8-10 psi first, have you lost control of boost with your profec B II?

4. Run a boost pressure directly to the actuator to rule out the EBC/solenoid.
 
1. Didn;t change the ECU, just fix the print circuits cuz there was a gap in the ECU ( but getting a new ECU)

2.Never been boost creep before

3. Set my boost up 15 psi daily. but since some how I fried the ECU by install the 02 simulator and heard a ticking noise. fix the ECU the Profec B II is reading 22.4 psi. turn it down to stock boost and seeing my Pro Fec B II is reading 17 psi. but i can't pass 10 psi ever time i put it full throttle. it seem to me i can;t control my Boost where i want to set it

4.everything is set up to the actuator but still doing the same thing

Possible a wire is shorted or my greddy profec is not doing it job and something went wrong

Let's try and exclude the ebc for now and go by what's on the autometer boost gauge, digital gauge may be accurate but not helpfull in dealing with boost creep because it doesn't tell you how it gets there. When you bypass the ebc and connect the pressure source to the actuator, what does your autometer boost gauge tell you? In detail please.
 
my boost gauge is telling me 10 psi then my boost gauge start to boggle like it a rev limit meter for boost and coudn't pass 10 psi. the needle of the boost gauge is hitting back on forth between 8-10 psi. like it boogles. i havne;t done the setting on the S-AFC ever since my ECU was fix but my S-AFC is not connect cuz it make my car running poorly
 
Okay, I'll try not to bi*** too much about your english, but I *am* having troubles figuring out *exactly* what your problem is... now, the boost guage bounces?

Have you done a boost leak test yet?

Can you borrow a boost guage from anyone to reference and see if yours is working? It sounds to me like it might have a problem if it's bouncing around... however, the problem might be leaking boost...

Also, you have this big ass fuel pump... but I didn't see anything about a fuel regulator, injectors, etc... how much boost are you trying to run?

I think you have a lot of tuning issues to work out, and when they are worked out, your problems will go away.
 
Sorry about my english is not that great

all i know is that i'm saying is my boost gauge can't pass 10 psi, my car start to boggle around 4000 rpm when i nail that gas, the exhaust sputter alot and this is happan at the same time. the only fuel upgrade is my Walbro 255 and I'm trying to set my boost to 14-15 psi. but the greddy is saying 17 psi and this is when i set everything back to stock boost.

kinda new on tuning the S-AFC aslo
 
Boost leak and boost creep are two different things, do some search and reading so you will have a better understanding of what they are. Here's how you find boost leaks. http://www.vfaq.com/mods/ICtester.html
The problem right now is that you have the ebc and and the autometer telling you different things so this is what I think you should do.

1. Verify which is correctly by installing a known good gauge either new or borrowed from a friend.
2. Do a boost leak test and fix all leaks.
3. Resolve your fuel pressure issue, the 255 is over running your stock fpr.
4. You don't need the safc for now because you're still running stock injectors.

Only after you can verify you're getting the correctly boost readings can we determine if you have boost creep and go from there. A lot of work but that's just the way it is.
