I seen a 92 Talon TSi in the classifieds and i was really considering it but it said the valve stem seals are bad? What the &*#@ is that?? I mean don't get me wrong I know a good amount about repairing cars but what is that? Hard to fix? Expensive?

mabye they mean the valve seals in the head are bad.

I don't think he is talking about the valve stems on tires, and the only other part there is the valve core, causing the tires to leak. whoopie!!

Good Luck! :thumb:

Damn I'm a dumbass not knowing that! I mean i should be puched in the face for that! I know what it is.

Valve stem seals in the head, causes the car to puff a little blue smoke on take-off from a stop, burning some oil. Not too bad, but enough to get the price way down from a perfect car, and enough to piss the people off behind you.
