I'm buying parts before I send them off to my machinist and was wondering what valve stem to use. I'm going to buy supertech valve stem seal that extremepsi sells.

I was wondering which one do I buy for stock valve-train. Do I buy standard or reduced O.D?

Thanks!

It doesn't really matter, they have the reduced o.d sizing for the guys running dual valve springs and need all the room/clearance they can get. If you have stock springs just get the standard seals.

Yea these are made with viton material. That's why I chose them.

Thanks guys, I went ahead and bought a set.

Awesome, let us know how these work for you. I have a set in the evo and haven't had a puff of smoke. Meanwhile my customers just blew out at 32psi on the stock evo8 longblock 75k miles.

And yes these are viton, as most seals available for these cars are now. Don't question supertech :thumb::cool:
