I fried another transmission recently. 3000 miles on this one. Last trip to the track, my speedometer quit working and noticed gear oil leaking on the ground. Pulled the speedo gear, looked down the hole and saw the teeth on the front differential gone. Pulled the trans apart and found this:

I have another transmission to put in, so it's not too much of a problem. My concern is that I am currently upgrading with a FP3052, Forrester intake, FP2 cams, 850cc injectors, DSMLink and ported head. The drivetrain situation can only get worse....

My last failure was a broken 3-4 shift fork. After welding the center diff and installing steel forks, I thought my problems were over. NOT!

thats the last thing I broke also, I wasn't even pushing it. took off from a light, next thing I know 4th gear is nowhere to be found, shifter got all floppy :notgood:

got it rebuilt with steel forks and a quaife :thumb:
