[RESOLVED] No Jamnuts on 1 cable???? Wtf?

Alright. I adjusted linkage today, and I found a peculiar thing.

The right jamnut circled there, well I don't have it.
It's odd because even if you took the jamnuts off, it wouldn't be flush metal, it would just fall apart. But no, The right cable is completely smooth. I can take a picture if you guys would like.

On early 1Gs both cables had adjustment turnbuckles on the shifter end, on later 1Gs only one had adjustment
