Ok heres the deal for all you 1g nt guys save your money and do this....

i have a 1991 Laser RS 5 Speed and i had full exhaust (2.5'',test pipe,Straight through dynomax muffler), Cold air intake, Plugs, 8.5mm ACCEL thunderstock wires, 14.5 lbs 16" rims, K&N filter with an open air box (custom made it to eliminate air can) and all the free mods....

anyway with all this money spent i only ran a 16.7, keep in mind this is with a major exhaust manifold leak and +35 weather. but then my timing belt sliped and i had to get the head redone... so in the process i got the head ported, polished, and shaved and a performance valve job done (they had to redo the valve guides and what not due to the valves bending so i just got them to do it to get more power out of it) now i still havent fixed the exhaust leak but let me tell you after i got the car back with all that work done to the head.... WOW! spend your money on that trust me i raced a 96 TSI AWD with exhaust intake and boost controller and he only had me by 3 cars most of which he gained on the launch.

so ya if your gonna mod the NT's bolt on's just aint gonna do it

I was thinking about this full race port from dark enhancment, its pretty sick...we will see

$1500 cnd .that with labor and a new water pump, timing belt, fan belt and valves thats just roughly tho im not saying it will be the same for you tho

thats kinda steep... you could put together your own turbo kit, or rebuild the bottom end and run some heavy nitrous with that amount of money.
