Okay hopefully I uploaded the right log here.

I went out and turned my timing tables back to stock 2g but kept the fuel tables. I notice that is it targeting an 11.3:1 AFR towards the end of WOT which is a bit lean for my personal taste. I wanted it to be around 11.0.

So I will use the set the DA tables to a more rich WOT afr and see what happens. Only problem is its Texas and the only time I can get good semi-cool air is in the AM or after dark :/

Your AFR and AFRest line up pretty nicely, but the AFR needs to richen up a lot faster. Your in the 12's until 5,000rpm and then slowly dropping to 11.8-11.3. That's a big factor in why your getting so much knock down low and up top.
 
When do you think I should start seeing flat 11.0:1 at WOT?

I copy pasted evo fuel maps for the DA table. Same for timing but I've reset timing to stock 2g after seeing knock. I will return to the evo timing and richer it up at WOT, sound like a good plan?
 
Your AFR should richen up right when you hit full boost. Staying lean during spool is good, but you want those rich AFR's to keep things cool once your at full pressure.

Which Evo table did you use for the fuel? It looks like the GSR map, which is really aggressive. I use it as a base for my E85 tune. LOL

I would try using the Evo Mod1 tables for both fuel and timing, then adjust fuel to get your desired AFR right when you hit full boost. One thing I've learned about tuning these engines is that if you knock down low, your much more likely to start knocking up top.
 
Right now I've got a buddy sending me some better fuel DA tables that he think would get rid of the knock. I'd like to keep the evo timing and add fuel to get rid of the knock.

Unfortunately it's been raining all day here and looks like all day tomorrow :/
 
Hey whats up everybody, hows it going?

So i tried the new fuel maps. I switched back to evo timing. I still have 1* pulled from 5500 RPM+

This is where im currently at and I must say the car feels amazing. I pulled about 6 times and made adjustments based on wbfactor but the knock got worse. Then I figured out I was going the wrong way on the sliders >.< So I basically added up the adjustments I made and went the other way and it started richening up and the knock went away. One thing im not sure of is the accuracy of the wb value that is logged. Are the WOT values 100% accurate, but the idle and cruise values inaccurate? (AEM Uego. I used the calibrating vid on youtube to make the wb AFRs match the logged wb AFRs in link)

Anywho, heres where im at and when I let off the throttle at the end of the pull my AFRs had just dropped to 10.4. For the most part they were right at 11.0 or close during the entire powerband. Oh and I hooked my boost gauge back up and my passenger said the highest number they saw was 18 but dropped to 17 and held which sounds good to me.

I also was looking around my bay before going out and pulling and heard a small hissing noise from my intake mani. I was putting my fingers next to everything that sees boost/vac and it was all holding but I saw a big fuel leak in the return line from the FPR. It was where the line meets the hard line on the firewall. THe clamp was not clamping enough and it was leaking a good amount of fuel down onto the subframe. I grabbed a better clamp and it fixed the problem, could that have been creating issues for me other than a potential tragic engine bay fire? Again this is the return line that comes off the bottom of the FPR and goes to the hard line that returns gas to the tank.

Some extra info tfor those tuning in: Im tuning WOT using the mafcomp sliders and DA fuel/timing tables. I only touched the timing sliders to pull 1* up top to try and save the motor if it starts knocking. This is also my first WOT tune so take it easy on me :p Before now I have only tuned idle/cruise and ran pig rich at WOT (Around 9:0:1 afr) while I researched proper tuning methods. This is my first go around and I think im pretty close, but I know it needs to be leaned out a little more up top.

I just noticed that my wideband gauge reads a bit more lean than what dsmlink shows in the log. For example, when I let off the throttle at the end of the pull, my wideband read 10.4 and that was the most rich of the entire pull. I am seeing lowing 10s and stuff but its because i havent gotten the uego to match the logged values apparently :/
