Finally got her put back together yesterday. But this two tone paint job has got to go. Lol. Work in progress that's for sure. Just trying to see if anyone out there likes my wheels? 18" Pinnacle Spyders. (Fitting name huh) would like to see other DSMs with these same wheels if you come across any photos out there.

post a close up of them. I can't really tell from the suns glare, are they just polished or are they black and polished? They don't look bad in that picture, but that's just my opinion.

no problem man, I totally understand it's been raining here all day. Also you might want to lower it, shortening the gap between the fender and tire would make it look alot better to.

Not a fan of the wheels personally. To much bling bling ghetto factor. Just my opinion though.


Car looks clean none the less. Makes me miss my old Spyder.

What color do you plan on painting the car? Keeping it black?

I haven't fully decided what color to go with. Part of me wants it back to black, my favorite color on a car is white, and the other part of me wants to go with something totally different and off the wall but with taste and style.

If you want a cheap alternative to get it a solid color until you paint is, plastidip that beast. I personally think plastidip looks pretty sick and it's easy

I already ordered a full spray kit from dipyourcar.com and when I get a chance I will be plastidipping it white. They did it to an M3. Went from black to matte white and it looked amazing!

I'm plastidipping my 99 mustang gt thats my daily driver, its easy to do, lasts for quite a while and is easy to take off.

Here are some progress photos. I sprayed under coating on the entire floor and trunk to help soften up road noise as well as prevent rust. (Since I have none yet...yay) I plasti dipped my lower dash in black. You can see in some of the photos the two tone gray/black that it was before. Now it's a lot closer to matching the top. With the top down you can see a difference as the sun shines on it, but with the top up it looks really black. Either way, it's still a shade of black and looks good I thought. I also dipped the pillars and the header across the top. I used fusion gloss black on the sun visor clips as well as on all visible screws in the seating area. I am going to finish dipping the trunk pieces soon. Right now they are going through TLC stage because of some hairline cracks that are on them. I still have no carpet in but I'm ordering new carpet this week. The seats will also be replaced and most likely the back seat eliminated to make it a 2 seater. The sun visors will be replaced or rewrapped in black leather. I am still open to suggestions on what to do to the door panels. One of my doors is starting to peel away at the top near the window. Really want to figure out a way to make my door panels look perfect. Not really wanting to dip the doors. More pics to come soon. Thx guys. (Pics are not in a particular order)
