420A won't go into gear!!!

Ok first off its a 95 Talon N/A 5spd car has 120k on it and starts fine, so it won't go into gear when running but will when you start it while in gear, I'm gonna do the slave and master this weekend, but is it possible the syncros whent out or is there more possibiltys or is it usually the mast and slave, never had any problems with my DSM 5 speeds before

for some reason that makes me think of the throw-out bearing. If the master and slave dont fix it, you might wanna check into that.

It does still go into gears, I'm betting the clutch is just bad, probibly original clutch got it for 700 so its not a bad deal to do the clutch, any how to on it would be helpful

just went through this with mine. It wouldn't go into any gear at all. In order to go you had to put it in gear turn it on and hit the gas.... I had the clutch replaced and my issue is gone. My bet is on the clutch as well

sounds like a hydraulic issue to me. Probably master or slave cylinder.

im thinking its the master also ,ive had a problem like this but on my honda ...also how does the clutch pedal feel? is there pressure?

it's very unlikely that all your synchros went out at once and i was thining master and slave which i ended up doing twice on my old civic in the two years i owned it. why do you think the clutch is going out? any symptoms? keep me posted on how the master and slave went

How is the pedal? Firm?

If the pedal is squishy im 100 precent sure you need to bleed the clutch it should fix the issue.
