 Ok Guys heres the problem... I just got done rebuilding my car, when i rebuilt the car i installed an ACT 2900 pressure plate and a dual friction clutch. The car runs fine the clutch feels good(pressure wise) but when i push in the clutch and try to put the car in gear, any gear the car just grinds no matter what !! I can force it into reverse but i cant force it into any other gears. when the car goes in reverse it doesnt try to move it just wont allow me to put it in gear anyone got some suggestions? i really need help on why this car wont go into gear!! It acts like its not disengaging!!

I have a very similar problem with my car, but i just did a slave and master cylinder, and it still does it. it was weird though, when i first bled it, it was fine, first gear would pop out every now and then but every other gear was fine. then the next day i go to drive it and it wouldnt go into any gear without grinding or being quite unhappy. I have a 2600 lb clutch though... i was thinking that i either still have air in my line because it 10 degrees out here and it might not be the best weather to try and bleed a system, or i need to shim my clutch ball. . that seems to be a good fix for the clutch not disengaging enough. i'm also going to try adjusting my shifter linkage, and maybe going with synthetic oil for tranny fluid...hope i helped ya.

Ive already shimmed the pivot ball because it was much worse then this before. it had no pedal pressure at all so i shimmed it and everything seemed fine now the car is running and i cant get it into gear :thumbdown im already running synthetic and so forth !!
