1G Won't downshift into 2nd

I have a 91 GSX, and It will go into 2nd, only if I go straight into it. If I go to 3rd, and try to downshift, It feels like I'm hitting a brick. It does not grind, it just wont go into 2nd. Also, if this helps, It wont go into 1st without grinding unless I am at a stop or below 7MPH.

Sounds like a synchro issue. Have you tried rev matching?

How's the shape of your clutch pedal? Could be getting worn and you may not be getting the full throw.

Its new, I was thinking maybe the clutch fork was my problem.

Yeah, it just won't go in. No matter how hard you pull, it wont even grind in 2nd.

Did you inspect your clutch master and slave cylinder are in good shape, and that they are bled properly.

If you decide to swap out the stock clutch fork, I recommend that you get the forged competition clutch fork.
