Ive run it to some problems with the wiring harness on my 91 talon tsi. It seems that the previous owner cut off two plugs that go to the thermostat housing. I can not figure out how to attach these wires without a plug. Any help would be appreciated. Pics are attached. Thanks in advance.

Is anybody able to clear up if i do need to hook anything up to my sensor circled in my o.p. if i am not using a/c?? Also does any body know the correct way for wiring the wires to the cts without using a plug? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

The ECT sensor has two male spade connectors. If you have enough good wire left in the harness you can crimp on two females and slide them on the sensor. If you don't then make up an extension and solder them to the harness.

okay thank you that is what i was thinking of doing. But i have 2 sets of wires. The first set is green with a yellow stripe and black with a green stripe. The second set is green with a black stripe and yellow with a green stripe. I dont know which set to connect to it.

Also am i able to completely ignore the top sensor as said by redyute1 since i am not going to be using a/c?

You need to fix your computer so you can download the pdf's. This information is in there.

The ECT sensor uses the green with black and yellow with green wires. It doesn't matter which goes to which pin.

The AC sensor wires are the green with yellow and black with green, the black/green going to the ECU and the yellow/black to the AC pressure switch.
