Here is the story guys,
I have a 97 GSX project going on, there was some interior fire at the dash harness.
all has been fixed except for two sets of wires that I need help identifying. I am sure that they went together, but havent been able to find a color picture / diagram that shows what wire goes to what wire.

Here are the pics,
If you can get down in your car and look to see what wire goes to what wire I would be in your debt. Wires are located on the driver side beneath the dash by the fuse box.

UPDATE, HERE ARE BETTER PICS, WITH WIRE INFORMATION.

HARNESS CONNECTOR 1 (LOCATED OFF THE MAIN UNDERDASH HARNESS)
9 WIRES
BLACK W/ YELLOW STRIPE
GREEN W/ WHITE STRIPE
BLUE W/ WHITE STRIPE
YELLOW W/ WHITE STRIPE
YELLOW W/ BLUE STRIPE
YELLOW W/ RED STRIPE
GREEN
BLACK
LIGHT GREEN W/ BLACK STRIPE (LARGER GUAGE THAN OTHER WIRES)

Bump, could someone with a 97 GSX take a pic of their wiring connector for these two wire groups.
I hope this doesnt come off as me being impatient, I just really could use the help.

found it, thanks for the heads up. I am going to try to figure this out, but I could still use a pic from someone with a 97 - 99 GSX
Thanks again

I doubt you'll ever get a picture from someone. Look at that page 62 for wires to connectors on that same harness that you can find on your car (so you can identify which harness it really is). Then see which one on that harness you're missing and check the wire colors (in the circuit diagrams) to verify based on the connector plug.

You gotta give us more details. Where do you think it would fit? How many wires are in each of the two looms that you're holding? Do any of the following not work in your car:

center door locking system
anti-theft
clutch i/o switch
stop light switch
ignition switch
ABS/cruise control
A/C light
turn signals/hazards
blower resistor
blower motor
compressor
EMC
starter relay
defogger relay
body wiring
ECL
ABS

You really gotta help us out because there are so many wires and harnesses that the manual has two seperate diagrams just to make sense of it all. Let me be the first to tell you, they should have put three.

Looks like we are good to go now.
I want to thank all of you that posted and helped us on our way.
This is an outstanding site, with great members that took the time to help out a newbie with a pretty damn difficult problem (tough for me atleast).
So that being said, THANKS GUYS :thumb:
