I have a 91 Talon TSi AWD, I got it a few months ago completely stock.

as the title said it is over boosting I've checked for vac leaks I've checked the waste gate and changed the WGA also put on a MBC. it boosts as if completely unregulated.

the only thing I can think about now is my flex pipe is broken, but my cousin has a 95 eclipse with a flex pipe worse than mine and he still regulates boost normally.

any ideas? any advice? I'm still relatively new to DSMs and I would greatly appreciate any help.

You can overboost by not having your vacuum lines (and mbc) hooked up properly.

How do you have your lines hooked up?

If you were having issues with a pipe, you would notice your car acting weird and losing boost, not "gaining" it.

Are you reading the "stock" boost gauge. These are about as acurate as likcing your finger and sticking it out the window to guestimate your speed of travel :)

If you want to run stock boost run a vacuum line from you J pipe off the 14b to the WGA. Then just make sure you have a good source to the BOV. This should run the stock boost. If your overboosting you probably have the MBC bassackward.

yeah I still have the stock boost gauge I need to upgrade that soon, and thanks for the comments I'll double check the MBC and make sure it's all hooked up right

again thanks for the help.
