im new here, just bought a 95 Talon TSi AWD and the previous owner did some crazy things with the wiring. Does anyone know where i can get a complete wiring harness? thanks in advance. :D

i need all three. i want to re-wire everything. there is wires spliced, some are just hanging. its just a mess.

Opposed to that, you could get the Haynes manual and do your best to determine what wires don't belong. There are quite a few wiring diagrams in the back of the book and are pretty accurate. It'll save you a HUGE headache trying to pull the dash apart.

I for one second this suggestion. I speak from recent experience. To completely 're'-wire your DSM is a serious PITA. But if you do decide to go you initial route I have an extra Front+Engine Harness from a 95 GSX.

Good Luck!

Some tips. If there are wires all over the place, I'm willing to bet the the previous owner didn't take the time to tick and hide all of them to keep things neat and organized. In this case, look for single wires running out side of the harness or electrical tape. Wires taking routes that don't follow the harness is another good indication.

Was there an alarm system installed? Sound, gauges, tuning computers?

Welcome to my world... Some previous owners of these cars, well not just these cars, need to be taken out back behind the shed and beaten...

If I hadn't already put in hours and hours into repairing my harness I probably would have done the same as you... if it's really as hacked as you say starting from scratch is the best way to go.

Try the classifieds and/or try your local yards... you may get lucky and find a donor that you can pull the harnesses from.

Good luck.
