For some extra cooling, I was going to wire the A/C radiator fan to come on with the other radiator fan. I never use the A/C so I figured I could put it to use for some extra cooling. It seems really easy, I was just going to splice in 4 wires from the radiator fan and plug them into the 4-wire plug of the A/C fan. It the wiring is simple, but I wanted to make sure before I did this that I wont overload the relay/fuse, and that the 2 fans have the same wiring layout. I know they both have 4 wires, 2 for low, 2 for high. Also, will disconnecting the A/C fan from the A/C fan relay cause any problems? thanks

I have a 1g so my set up is a little different but maybe you could try something really easy first.
Check out this link below then read on after:

If you try pulling the AC Comp relay, you should still have the fans function when you turn on the AC in the car but the compressor won't come on.. This is what I did in my 1g, I just pulled out the AC clutch fuse and I can turn on both fans using the AC button in my center console. Give that a try first, before wiring everything up.

I took a wire and connected the top pins on the high setting of the engine and a/c fan. Works fine, I've only had it this way for 2 days. I'm not sure if it affects when the fans come on. I still have to check. Its a temporary thing, but also on vfaq.com their's an article under electronics.
