OK. I finally go my 90 TSI going. i had to put a new headgasket on it and change half of the exhaust manifold studs because they all snapped. Anyways, my radiator fan won't come on...ever. Neither of them will even start when i turn on the A/C. I looked for the fuse in 3 different boxes. And maybe it's my own dumb ass but i couldn't find a fuse for the fans. I only found a little relay. What else could it be. I did some searching and saw something about a fan switch at the bottom of the radiator. What is that.

Oh, it's not the temp sensor. It works.

Which sensor are you talking about? Have you tried bypassing the thermoswitch at the bottom of the radiator?

This may not be your problem, but its related. (On my Del Sol) I once spent money replacing the fan relay, water temp. sensor, and two fans only to find out it was the thermostat all along. I know it sounds crazy, but if you haven't replaced the thermostat yet spend the few bucks and see what happens.

ok. i figured it out. i finally found the dumb fuse. guess i just overlooked it.
