ok so i was trying a wire reduction while i have everything out of the engine bay and i didn't think about marking everything before disconnecting because i thought well hey im just taking out the motor.. then i decided to take out the harness to make the bay look better since im cleaning EVERYTHING else LOL.. well i didn't mark it from the beginning.. i did trace from the o2 housing all the way to the transistor pack.. but there are plugs i don't know what they are for and im noticing that after i took this harness out that the guy before me hacked some things and now i just want to set this harness straight. but i have all the pictures you will need on my phone and can take more i do have the i phone but i still dont know how to post on here.. my uncle did it the last time and im unsure. i only need 5 or 6 plugs identified. any help will be appreciated my ask for my email or number and illl get everything to you
thanks DSM tuner

No. You can make your own cable without the still excesively long non cruise cable

Ahhhh  :ohdamn:

To the best of my knowledge, better pics would help:

1st pic
2 - emission solenoid

2nd[ pic
3 - fuel pump tester
I'm not sure of the rest its a clump and the pics is too small.
They would be:
-wipers
-mpi pack
-defogger
-knock sensor
-a solenoid or two

3rd pic
2- fuse box power
3 - starter i think

4th pic
3 - bcs
4 - goes on positive battery terminal
5 - cruise control

one thing to keep in mind when removing connectors is to watch if there are 2 wires going into a single pin on a connector. if that loop is broken it might cause an issue with something else potentially.

when i did my 3000gt wire tuck the main harness is 137 wires. i took masking tape and wrapped it arount the wire then wrote a number 2 times in a row and cut between the numbers so i didnt have to try to look for colors or where they went. this was really helpfull since i did a fuse box relocation a wire tuck and a battery relocation all at the same time.

once i wired it all up it was perfect the first start.

also having the shop manual with the wiring diagram handy is extreamly recommended as some wires might just randomly end because your car doesnt have certain features or they might be dry rotted and broken from age

this is just a pic of a wire harness repair and rewrap i did for a friend. just to get an idea how much this cleans up the look of the engine bay

couple of last sec notes. get high temp electric tape as the regular stuff has a melting poing of 150 to 180 degrees. this is under the op temp of the car. high temp or if at an automotive store wiring harness tape has a melting point of 220-300 degrees.

aslo along these lines, most ebay and colored plastic wire loom has a melting point of 100-130 degrees. where it will melt if touching something hot it will dry out really quick and crumble if you move it within a few weeks. only black wire loom comes in high temp and it usually has a white stripe down it. it is slightly more ridged but it will have no issues. the stock wire loom has a melting point of around 240-280ish. at least on the 3000gt so im going to guess the dsm is the same
