Well, I had a pretty good year. It was my real FIRST dsm year spent at the track trying new things every time. couple diffrent turbos, couple diffrent tunes, meth, h20, exc.. I'm pretty happy with the year all and all. But It's time to start planning, saving $$, and setting next years goals. So I thought I would shoot out my intensions for the 2007 racing season. I'd love some feedback, comments, exc...

I'm fairly confident on reaching 11's in 2007. I haven't decited how deep I want to break into it the 11's. I went 12.4 with stock 7bolt/tranny/wheels/tires/clutch. I'm not sure what kind of times I can see with only a $1500 budget, but thats what I'm limiting limiting myself to for 2007.

I've allready aquired Cometic HG and 2g ARP studs so I can up the boost from 20psi to 25+. Though I'm pretty sure I'm going to go with a OEM MLS head gasket for fault tallurance issues. I want my head gasket to blow incase I do somthing stupid insted of having a crown melt or burn a valve. Anyway, this is my thoughts. Please, If you have been in my position and have some experiece (rule of thumb) please chime in..

ARP with OEM H/G $ Free
Fp2/comp2 style cams, revised lifter... $450ish depending on sales..
ACT2600 $400 stock 2g flywheel, $270 shop labor at work. $670 installed
Total= $1120
Gives me a few Hun'doe to work with.. What do you guys think I should do?

Thats what I've commit to buying mentally this winter assuming nothing changes. Throwing a rod/breaking somthing. I've got a little bit of room to budge on perfect parts at a perfect deal. I'm hopeing to watch Ebay this winter on some "Give me" deals. Thats how I bought DSMlink last decemner for $399 dirrectly from Dave at ECMtuning!! Any
