I'm doing the exact same build (minus turbo for now). By this friday I'll have the last of my parts back from the machine shop, and I'll be ready to throw her together. Hope it goes as smoothly as it did for you.

What do you think about the Titan ICS? I'm really torn between that or just going with stock composite. My goal is 400whp, and as far as I can tell I should have no problem with the stocker and ARP's at that power level. People have put down way more on stock motors. The upside is that it won't leak unless it really blows. I've heard mixed things about the ICS, leaked on a lot of people, even heard of the wire o-ring ending up inside the cylinder.

Thanks for the kind words and compliments first off.

I really don't have an opinion on the SCE Titan ICS as of yet. I only have about 30 miles on the motor and running 15psi but so far, so good. I'll let you all know how it holds up.

I went with the composite since I have similar horsepower goals. With ARP's torqued to 75 lb/ft on the moly lube, I'm really not worried and I don't think you should either. I just got the car back today and beat the living snot out of it (Motoman style) and it held like a champ. Tomorrow, I'll really yank on the boost and see how it does.

As a point of interest, the stock head bolts and gasket held up to repeated 26psi boost levels and when the head was removed, the stock gasket was perfect. I'd never use anything else.

Hey Dan - project_tsi.

Can I ask you something? how the car behave cruising? is it at high RPM? MPG?
for example when I am crusing at 80 mph in the Higway I am hitting almost 4000rpm.... :confused:

do you mind if I PM you another question?.

Every dsm with the stock gear set cruises at taht speed. It is dependant on the gear ratio for 5th gear. If you would like it to be lower look into getting a taller 5th gear from www.teamrip.com

Cruising the car is great. Well, besides anything under 2500 putts in town it bucks a bit but only due to the lightweight Fidanza flywheel. But overall the car is an absolute blast on the street. Just the overall amount of torque the car has and its faster spool make the car so much more fun to drive again, its like a whole other car. My RPM's are also high at 80mph in 5th, and like TJ mentioned above, its b/c of the gear ratio's. I can't give you a good MPG estimate right now as my A/F is consistently in the 9.3:1 range so MPG is not so good at all right now. As soon as its fully tuned I'll update with some results.

Thanks for the comment. I don't really care about it. I rarely take it to the highway and I have a shep trany so I don't want to mess with it.
