Well this has just recently started happening to me. Lately whenever I leave my car outside for an extended period of time, the inside windshield and side windows become extremely foggy. It seems like my defroster doesn't make it go away either. It seems like alot of water that built up on the inside. What could be causing this? Now I had a new turbo installed a month or so ago and we had to use water in place of antifreeze, could this be the cause? Or do I need a new heater core? Please help someone.

You shouldn't just put water in, replace it with a 50/50 solution.

Could that be the cause of it though? The lack of any real antifreeze? The water was just a temporary fix because I needed my car to be running.

i don't htink it would be a cause, but i could be wrong.

Use your air conditioner (if you haven't yanked it out already) when you set your vents to defog. The dry air that blows through will eliminate the foggy windows.

No pool under the spare tire, but I did notice that my driver side floor mat is abnormally wet. More so underneath than on top. (I was wondering my foot kept slipping off the clutch pedal!). Could this mean a leak? But where would it be coming from?

I would definitely suggest putting some antifreeze in there quick, before the big hard freezes set in. Is your car parked outside?
