1G Windows stoped working and locks

ok so I have been trying trouble shoot this my self to get it to work but have not had any luck I am not very good with elec tech stuff so this will be a pain so here we go

I checked all the fuses and replaced the relays.

I pulled the motor to do some painting and put it back in hooked everything up and now the windows do not work and the locks kind of work when you go to push the lock over to lock it it pushes back and wont stay locked.

now when I pull the window relay I the engine bay and go to put it back in the slot it clicks when in pushing it in like it is activated as soon as I put it in is that right also when I leave the car on for awhile the relay will get warm.

now the door locks seam to have some power but it almost seams like something is telling it to unlock the door as soon as I lock them and the lock actuator gets warm also when I leave the car on for a bit.

I do not have any draw on the batt when it is off I checked that.

Is the main firewall ground still hooked up to the battery? It goes from the battery to the firewall (located to the left of the injector resistor box, under the wiper motor)
