There is a local guy selling his Wilwood Brake setup, its the 13" 6 piston caliper front setup for a little over $900. Says there is new pads included. Is this a good buy?

I personally would spend it on power adders like a set of cams or put it towards a good pnp head. Do you really have a need for a big brake kit now?

If their complete kits & everying is in good shape (ie rotors still in spec), then I would say that a descent/pretty good deal. Whats the thickness of the rotors? Depending on the rotor thickness they should start abit under the $1600 mark & go to just over the $1700 mark for the complete kits.

On a side note, what rims are you running? If your still on the 17" stocker they may not clear this brake setup (because of the calipers) so make sure you do measurements first.

yeah I know Im not making enough horsepower and my rims arent big enough, but neither is this person selling them. I am looking into doing autocross racing and will be getting bigger rims to accomodate for the rotor size if I do purchase these. Also I just love the way big brake setups look.
