Aight guys, I just bought a 91-94 EPROM ecu that has been socketed. It currently has a stock chip in it now but it came with a TMO Stage 3 clone chip. The part number on this ECU is MD193295 which will show as a California ECU but has been converted to FEDERAL standards. Also it has brand new caps in it so they shouldnt leak. Now i also have a 3" maf and maf-t... I was seriously considering DSMlink but then again I did get the TMO stage 3 chip. If I was to go the TMO route would the maf-t and maf be enough or am i missing somthing? Also I have a datalogger I bought awhile ago it came with software but it's pirated and not labled, I did atempt to read it on my computer but it just kept asking me to insert data cable which i don't have, only the cable that goes from the logger to the car. Anyway any info on the best route to go would be great! - full mod list on my profile btw. thanks

After looking at your mods. I would suggest the dsmlink route. Sell the TMO chip and pop in the dsmlink eprom chip and your done. Well sort of. If you already have the maft setup (looks like you do) then following the purchase of dsmlink, follow the calibrating instructions on the link forums for the maft.

Dsmlink datalogs as well so you dont need your current datalogger. Dsmlink members will help you tune on the forums (an awesome resource).
As far as engine management and air metering, sounds like DSMlink is the way to go!
Good Luck.

You could still probably get a decent tune with the TMO and MAF-T alone. If your MAF-T is in blowhtrough config. you will probably have some wierd airflow metering, and that can be difficult to tune out without the Link. I see you have a direct port 150 shot, so the Link will give you a nice safety margin because it will allow you to turn the spray off if you start knocking.
Which ever way you go, a good wideband can make all the difference in the world when tuning, so I would start there and then decide if you want or need the added capabilities of the Link.

yea, i should throw that in the profile.. i have a zextronic wideband o2

yea, i should throw that in the profile.. i have a zextronic wideband o2. well i think im deff going to go the DSMlink route i guess i'll just sell the chip or hold onto it for good measure even.. ty for the help guys

When are you going to pay me for these parts you bought Steve? It's been long enough since paypal revoked your funds from my account as fraudulent. You won't come to the phone and have your grandmother speak for you.
