I know they will clear the factory GST rims because they are on my car with the GSX brakes now. The problem with the factory rims is that there arnt many great options as far as tires go. I need to get a set of 15" rims but I need to make sure they will clear the GSX breaks. So my question is will these? Wheel Details - Discount Tire
I like these because they are cheap and they look alot like the factory rims. I will get 2 factory 16's painted black for the back and put two of these up front.

Negatory on the 15"s. I have the stock GS 5 spoke 16"s and almost looks like brake dust buildup will rub the caliper.

These should fit your car since it's a GST. I know the brake package was different and I run a 15" slick that doesn't have a lot of offset at all so I wouldn't see a problem. But they would look ridiculous being so small.

I upgraded my brakes to GSX brakes. I know a guy that has 15" wheels on his gst and he also has upgraded to GSX brakes. Ill see if I cant post a pic from another web site to show yall.

The answer to the question about the 15" wheels from discount tire is yes they will fit. I talked to a manager at one and he was not sure so he asked me to go over and they would check it out. They had a similar rim there so they threw it on. It rotates with no scraping or anything although Im not sure you can squeeze a peice of paper threw the gap. In the morning I am having them order my DOT approved MT streets DR's.

On the screen when I bring up my 98 GSX it shows me sizes for 16, 17, 18, 19 and then it says 15's wont fit but I guess if it fits put it on!

Yea I already knew there were some 15" rims that would fit. But I cant justify spending $1,980 on a set of volks or anything like that. I figured I would just get 2 rims that are as close to my stock rims as possible. That way I can get 2 more stock rims and just have them powder coated black. I will just throw a set of cheap Z rated tires on the back and leave the DRs on all the time up front. I will just have an extra set of rims with new tires on them hanging out in my closet.

Im about to make a new thread to determine which MT DR I should get.

**You were right though alot of 15's wont fit over these brakes**

If you want a set of bigger wheels and dont want to spend a lot o can see what i can do to bring down the price

I already ordered them. They will be in today. For 2 it was only $205 so no biggie. Thanks for the offer though. Now if you can get my Mikey Thompson's ET street radials cheaper that would be much appriciated. :)

The reason I used 15" is because they dont make many DR/slick choices for the factory 16" wheel (which is what I wanted to keep on my car) I got these because they will look alot like the stock rim when all of the rims are painted black.

I can call tomarrow and figure that out for you. or you could see if you could get a discout by saying your brother or some shit works at store 10 in MN. LOL

Dont worry about it man....I got aintcy(sp?) and ordered them when the guy called me to let me know he could get them...LOL
Thanks again for the offer.
