2G Will these clear brembos?

Before we get started here I don't want anyone to bash in these wheels. I know what I'm purchasing and I'm fully aware of that. Now here goes. In the near future I plan on running evo 8/9 brembo. I don't want to run the usual evo 8/9 enkei or bbs. I tried looking at an evo forum but they run a much wider wheel then us 2g guys do. So I'm was wondering if these fit.

With all the research I have done, they should fit. However people say that at this offset it really depends on spoke design. I'd prefer not to fill fenders but I'm not sure. What do you guys think?

To find a definite answer you will need to find someone who has actually run that setup. I can tell you that I am running Gram Light 57 Maximums in 17 X 8 +33 Offset with my EVO 8/9 brakes installed on stock 2G knuckles with the brackets made by KMV and I have only a few millimeters of clearance between the calipers and the spokes.

By the spoke design it seems like it would clear. The primary issue is with wheels with lips and inward spokes (similar to those pictured above). The only way to be sure is to try though.

So best bet would be to buy a wheel and mock fit with a brembo caliper? Is there any distance that's not ideal? For example is anything less than 1mm to little? Great to see some brembos on the stock 2g knuckle.

I'd bet they would work. Being a 8.25 wheel, with a +36 offset, and that style of wheel, I'd put money on it.

So I managed to test fit the wheels on a car with brembos and they do NOT clear. So the search continues.
