Is it your car? No. Don't worry about it.

Blaze -- Before you put any aftermarket taillight on, go to Wal-Mart or wherever and buy a $2 tube of clear silicone, then reseal the lights yourself. You don't have to take them apart, just simply put a small coat of the silicone around all of the edges. I've heard a lot of stories about Altezza-type tails leaking.

I've got the APC CF-look ones - quality's not bad overall, but iowaboostin is definitely on the mark regarding leaks. My center panel gets a good bit of condensation from car-washes (no true "leak" in the flooding term of the word), but side units are water-tight so far (about 3 months out). No trace of condensation in heavy precipitation otherwise, though.

Best of luck with your non-specific retrofit! :thumb:

BTW: to swing lo.......it's a matter of taste. My good buddy is an old-school American steel guy (currently restoring a monster of a big-block Chevy and a '64 Mustang). When I told him of my plans for this set of lights, he envisioned it to look exactly like current-generation Chevy Impalas. After seeing my combo (Modena Silver metallic paint), he actually liked it a lot - and we don't mince words with each other's "taste" in cars.

Different strokes for different folks. :) Remember that it's all DSM-lovin', any way you look at it. ;)
