I got a 93 talon es with the motor torn apart for cheap. I found a 4g64 out of a 95 galant. Im trying to get the talon runing for cheap. Will the 4g64 block out of a 95 galant work with my head?

Depends if the 4G64 block has roll stop provisions or not.

If it doesn't, you're going to have a difficult time mounting it.

Like ^he said and if it does you Just gotta do some tricks with the timing. I'm pretty sure there is a vfaq with a walkthrough and parts list. Have fun.

IF it is a 95 it will not, the mounts are on the transmission like a 2g on the 7th gen galant.

What is wrong with the engine that is torn apart? You can rebuild one of these engines for real cheap if you play your cards right. Usually you can hone the cylinders, polish crank, clean everything and assemble with new rings, bearings and gaskets and spend a few hundred dollars if everything is in spec.

It blew a timing belt. I got it with head apart and crank and pistions are out.

I say rebuild with some NPR 2g pistons and start planning for a 14b, most parts can be had for a good price but DON'T cut costs on the gaskets or you will regret it.

The eristic gaskets kits for 45 are actually one of the best you can get.
