I have an 18g from my conquest tsi and was wondering how hard it would be to make it work on my 90 plymouth laser rs turbo. Moving from the conquest ,just to hard to modify with my budget just thought I would use a more researched platform. I know the inter-cooler will work with modification and the MAFT and wideband also, just thought I would find out before spent more money. Thanks in advance.

You will need to get a dsm style turbine housing for it. It is a TD05H turbine correct?

Get at least a 7cm housing(stock on 16Gs), the 6cm(stock on 14Bs) very choke up top with a 18G. A MHI 8cm or the BEP housing(~.55 A/R or ~ 8cm) would be the best choice if you are trying for big horsepower.

Thanks, so the compressor housing, wheel and turbine shaft all will work, just change the turbine housing and I should be OK after balancing right. Anyone trying to sell a 16g housing. Willing to trade a Starion intercooler.

Come on some of you Gurus help me out. I would like to do this the right way. Just not sure about what to do before the starion intercooler install, you know lining up the pipes so everything fits.

Like you were told before, you'll need a dsm style turbine housing. Recently I saw a few 16g housings for sale on Ebay so check there. Post up a pic of the turbo btw.

All you need to do is change the turbine housing, no balancing is required
