Will I be ok to run my car like this with my 18g?

Ok so I have a 18g with a 14psi wastegate spring and was wondering if it would be ok for me to run RC550's and a 2G MAS with it and not smash on the car till I'm able to have it re-tuned. I also could always throw on in my 9psi spring for better safety.. Any positive advice would be greatly appreciated it, because I don't really have a choice either way.. Just need to know how careful I REALLY need to be or if I can just drive like normal everyday driving and get into 4-6psi.

All my mods in my profile are up to date except I have no link right now to tune..
 
you can drive regular or hard with 2g maf and 550's cause them together are almost close in spec. i wouldnt go super crazy with boost though you can have a chip burned and your ecu socketed and be fine from there, beats paying out the ass for a tuning device imo.

Yeah the boost part I'm gonna take it easy on till I have a chip or something to tune with.. But as long as I'm safe running the turbo without beating on the car I'm happy because my car is my DD LOL and it beats driving my f150 that gets 8mpg.. :ohdamn:
 
The previous owner of my GSX ran a Greddy 18g with 20g internals on 550cc's with the 2g MAS. From his experience it ran fine. When I purchased the car form him, it was barely running due to all of the intake valves being bent. I have also noticed that the knock sensor was missing. I can't say that his setup was the cause of the bent valves but I can say that he wasn't running too lean. No idea on how much boost he was running day to day though.

Yeah I DEF don't plan on smashing on the car at all until it has a proper tune and I can monitor the A/F's.
 
Then you'll be fine. The turbo is only going to make as much boost as your foot allows.

If you want no boost at all, unhook the wastegate actuator arm from the flapper lever and your car will become a non-turbo. LOL

Lol I've tried that and my car was sooooooo slow, I had to floor it to get it to go anywhere and didn't even make it a 1/2 mile before I was like umm... no this is not gonna work.

Will I be able to run the 18g with my 1G mas and 450's till my new pigtail adapter comes in for my mas?
