2G Will GSX cat fit GS?

Im having a hard time right now finding a cat for my 99 gs, the ones I found are the magnaflow one part number:49895, it looks like a straight bolt on to my car but it says it only fits the turbo models. Are they wrong or am I, help please.

Turbo models (GST/GSX) have a different catalytic convertor than non turbo models (RS/GS). They will not interchange.

With a grinder and welder you can make anything fit if you really want to.

Ya I’m not much of a hack it and tack it man but your cheapest and easiest bet may be finding a universal cat with measurements you take from your car as well as ordering the right flanges and making it yourself.

If you're going to weld one, keep in mind:
Stock pipes are 2.25"
Most aftermarket exhaust is 2.5"
Size the convertor accordingly.

If anyone wants to know a 3 inch gst catback will in fact bolt up to a gs or rs. I'd go off of what BLACK'98DSM said though if your not into welding or anything like that. I couldn't tell you if it'd actually bolt up to the cat though. I usually throw those things right in the scrap. I have no inspections where I live and I have no check engine lights.
