I search and can't find the answer. So will 2g awd tokico white illusions and prokit springs fit on my 2g gst?

Did you check Tokico and Eibach's site? AWD and FWD have different part numbers. They would likely fit, but I believe the rear springs/struts are a bit stiffer on the AWD parts.

I looked on the site and yeah there different part number. I just wanna know if they would fit ### I found some hella cheap that I can't let go.

There a guy on here that made a blog bout putting the awd tokico strut and spring combo on his gst and it worked? So would the rear sit higher then?

I used the AWD tokico kit on my eclipse spyder because I wanted the stiffer springs for the rear and they mounted fine.

The only difference is the AWD springs have a stiffer spring rate to compensate for the AWD drivetrain.

sorry to bump but i bought the tokico lowering kit. but i did away with the lowering springs after about a month and back to stock ride hight with the stock springs on the tokico struts. WORKS GREAT this way good handling and still the stock hight. and if you ask why i took them off??? i Louisiana and live down a 6 mile dirt road nuff said. but now would the awd springs make much more difference in handling in my case

Hardly any IF any. It's possible that the springs are identical FWD and AWD. But it's also possible that they differ in some small amount, just not enough to matter in this instance.

The short answer is no, because any potential gain in spring rate or ride height will not be significant enough in this situation.

You can get some stiffer springs or thicker antisway bars if you want to upgrade your handling but keep your ride height. I believe the H&R OEM spring will do just that. They are stiffer but have a stockish height. Or you can go with a coilover setup like skunk2s. If your road is really bumpy though I would just keep it stock.

Quick bump, I just bought a 91 TSi FWD for parts and it has KYB AGX shocks and DSS coilovers(400f / 350r) installed. I want to take these and swap into my 90 AWD. With those spring rates will the ride be ok? Are there any issues I will run into swapping these parts over?
