Will APEXi air filter and 3" pipe fit 1g MAF thingy?

I want to buy an APEXi Power Intake Air filter and a 3" intake pipe for my 91 TSi and I want to know if they will fit before i order them.

I know the APEXi filter has like a interior cone deal for less turbulence but im wondering if this will hit the MAF sensor and therfor not fit. Also I wonder if the 3" intake pipe i want will be able to mount to the MAF.

Anybody know?

it should fit ...u need to get an adapter that goes on the left side of the mas so the filter can attach to it...on the right side of the mas u should get a rubber cuppling to attach to it....go on www.dejontool.com or injen.com ...check out their intakes and compare them to apexi's if they look the same and say they come with the same stuff go for it... nothin worse then gettin a mod n not bein able to put it on because its missing something....

I have the Apexi power intake. I dont believe it will bolt up to the 1g maf. The filter bolts onto a cast adapter plate that bolts to the 2g maf. So unless the bolt pattern of the 2g maf and 1g maf are the its not likely.
